Mr. Arif Khan is currently a faculty member of the department of Art & Design, Punjab University. He possesses an amicable aura, fast expanding with his achievements, and is truly popular among his students.
A graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore in graphic designing, he has also been teaching at NCA and Lahore College for Women.
Arif Khan has total command over his calligraphy skills and has participated in various national and international painting exhibitions.
A viewer can quickly notice musical rhythmic content in his work portrayed through bluntly used colours. The very first glance at any single piece of his work stuns you for a moment. At least this is what I experienced while visiting his recent exhibition at Nairang Art Galleries, Lahore. And it almost happened every time when I moved from one painting to the other.
